Message Most of the little broken pieces are still really well held together by a film that is on the glass. It is put there for safety to keep it from getting littl eglass shards everywhere. Really, there is NO reason at all to get a plastic windsheild unless you are driving a full on race car and the 5lbs you save matters. The weight savings are going to be minimal with the addition of being illegal, not as safe, and scratched easily.

The hoods...yes vented hoods will dissapait heat better so if that is your reason perhaps for a track car? Then feel free to get it, but really if it's just a street car stick with the aluminum hood. It's lighter and a LOT cheaper :) You can also modify the stock hood to have a vent in it..members have done that here with OEM looking results while dissapaiting heat better.

Thanks,
Mike
